Avenue Q

Article by Seema Shah

The broadway musical, entered the west end scene 5 years ago and stayed here since. It recently moved theatres and is based in the Wyndham theatre.
The plot revolves around a young graduate, who is out of work, out of luck and who is desperately seeking his purpose in life.

This hilarious comedy mixes puppets and live action together. Yes i did write puppets, now before you think this is a musical for children and switch off let me tell you that this musical is definitely one for adults. With its crude humour and inappropriate language it tackles some serious issues such as racism and unemployment.  Its definitely one production to check out.
