From the 29^th of July to the 8^th of August Somerset House is playing host to Film 4’s Summer Screen. 11 films are being screened in the open air on a huge pop up screen in the courtyard. From low-budget horror to cult classics to national favourites this is a wonderful opportunity to have a unique cinema experience.  Our personal picks are the screening of Cabaret, because you can’t beat a bit of Liza when she’s on form, and Let The Right One In, a Swedish vampire horror guaranteed to send chills down your spine.

Before the beginning of the screening DJ’s will set the mood and there is a range of food available, seating is on rugs and screenings take place whatever the weather so come prepared! In accompaniment Film 4 are also offering a range of talks, screenings and one off events giving you a chance to meet industry insiders and experience film on the other side of the camera. Tickets to the events are from free to £16.50 and you are sure to have a night to remember!
