Q:You’ve worked in TV, Film, Fashion and Beauty what has been your favourite job to date?
A: Doing the Oscars! The workload was incredible but I loved every minute: doing makeup for the celebs; interviewing designers like Elie Saab and David Cardona; interviewing celebs on the Red Carpet like Jennifer Love-Hewitt and reporting Live on Gmtv…Plus the After Parties were pretty cool!

Q:You’ve also worked with many very famous and successful people. Can you give us some gossip, who was the best to work with, and who was the worst?
A: of course everyone I’ve worked with have been delightful! I particularly love working with actresses Shobna Gulati and Angela Griffin….because we’re good friends and have lots of fun! Last years X Factor finalist Laura White is also lovely and has an incredible voice….she got a new album out soon!

Q:What made you get into make up?
A: I started off as an actor and had just finished touring with The Crucible and was ‘resting’ when I got a job working for Clinique in a department store in my home city of Manchester. I was fascinated with the whole art of transformation and seemed to have a natural flair…… After working for a few different brands, I set up a Personal Beauty Suite and was trained in most major cosmetic companies. Eventually I became a regular face on tv lifestyle shows like LK Today, How To Look Good Naked and Fake Over.

Q:What are your favourite brands?
A: I love Sisley, Clinique, Mac, Givenchy, Origins…..oooh I could go on! Every company has a star product. The great thing about my job is that I get to use all my favourite products! I tend to give lots of product tips on my website (www.armandinternationalltd.com) or Twitter (@ArmandBeasley)

Q:Favourite Fashion designers?
A: I love Armani, 7forMankind and Jeffrey West shoes…. But I also love a bargain although you will never catch me in Primark! I always in Indulgence and Santos+Mowen on Earlham St., in London , Harvey Nics, Manchester, Kendals, Manchester or Armani on Brompton Rd….. if I’m styling a woman for an event then I usually check out Kyri (www.kyrionline.co.uk)

Q:Who would you like to get stuck in a lift with?
A: Hmmm….tough one. Probably Dalai Lama and talk about spirituality….. Or squashed into a very small lift with Angelina Jolie AND Brad Pitt….and…er..talk about…politics…of course!

Q:If you can play any part in any film, what would it be?
A: That’s a tricky one… So many too choose from: Norman Bates in Pyhsco… Franknfurter in Rocky Horror… Oberon in Midsummer Nights Dream… Ming in Flash Gordon… Edward Scissorhands…..hmmm is there a pattern here!!!!????
