Ife – Aim To Please

This debut offering from American singer Ife, is a soul-infused mid- tempo song that stands out from anything else currently in the charts at the moment.  Combining classic soul sounds with a pounding bass line that gives it a contemporary twist.   With acts like Sade returning as well as other established soul singers, Ife looks set to be part of a new wave of soul artists lighting up the charts in 2010.

Mika – Blame It On The Girls

The second single from Mika’s sophomore album, follows on from its predecessor We Are Golden and unfortunalely fails to deliver.  The song sticks to the same formula that he found success with on his debut album and as such makes the song bland and unoriginal.  Time to experiment with new sounds and think outside the box.

Lemar – The Way Love Goes

Lemar returns with ‘The Way Love Goes” which see’s him head into a new direction musically.  Gone are the soul wrenching ballads and in its place, an up-tempo song that fits in perfectly with the current offerings in the chart, but offers enough distinction to set him apart from his competitors.  Macs predicts a return to the top of the charts for Lemar.
